Northampton Saints legend Ben Cohen to headline charity gala ball as just 15 tickets remain
Northamptonshire Mind is making a final appeal for supporters to attend its annual fundraising gala ball, with Rugby World Cup winner Ben Cohen among the special guests.
Northampton Saints legend and Rugby World Cup winner Ben Cohen will help raise money for vital mental health services at a charity gala ball – with just 15 tickets remaining.
Northamptonshire Mind is preparing to host its annual black-tie fundraising event at Sedgebrook Hall on Saturday, November 21, bringing together businesses, community supporters and guests from across the county.
The evening will feature a special appearance by Ben Cohen MBE, who will join broadcaster and business leader Fraser Dainton for an on-stage interview about his rugby career and the importance of mental health and wellbeing.

Guests can also enjoy a drinks reception, three-course dinner, live music, a DJ, fundraising games, raffle prizes and a charity auction offering exclusive prizes and experiences.
The event will raise funds for Northamptonshire Mind, which has supported people across the county for more than 62 years.
Demand for its services remains high, with more than 5,000 people attending its Crisis Cafés over the past year, while more than 2,000 received one-to-one counselling.
A further 24,000 people accessed the charity's wellbeing services and community hubs.
Sarah Hillier, chief executive of Northamptonshire Mind, said: “Every day we see the difference that timely mental health support can make.
“Whether someone accesses counselling, visits one of our Crisis Cafés or attends a community wellbeing session, the right support at the right time can be life-changing.”
Ian Taylor, a charity trustee and chairman of the gala ball organising committee, said organisers were delighted to welcome Ben.
He added: “As one of Northamptonshire's most respected sporting figures, we're sure guests will enjoy hearing his story and insights.”
The charity has thanked sponsors including WPA, Whittlebury Park, Cottons Accountants, Eight Financial Advice, I D Lloyd & Sons, TC Group and Wilson Browne Solicitors for supporting the event.
Organisers hope the evening will raise significant funds while increasing awareness of the mental health support available throughout Northamptonshire.
Ian added: “With just 15 tickets remaining and the event now only a month away, we'd encourage anyone thinking of attending to book now before they're gone.”
Anyone interested in securing one of the remaining tickets should contact Northamptonshire Mind for availability and booking information.
