Parents and children at a new housing estate in Northampton marched 3.5 miles to show the journey pupils could face to school after plans for a new secondary school were scrapped.
Plans have been unveiled to convert a Grade II listed Northamptonshire hall into a school for up to 200 pupils with special educational needs.
