Cobblers 'building really positive things off the pitch' after takeover - Hogg
After two positive performances and results on the road, Chris Hogg is now hoping for a strong week at Sixfields as Cobblers host Tranmere Rovers and Colchester United.
Northampton took four points from trips to York and Grimsby, an impressive return at the best of times, let alone on the back of a poor start to the season, and now the challenge is to back it up on home territory.

"Winning can mask things and it can mask not-so-good things that are happening on the training pitch or within the environment or culture,” said Hogg. “But other times that stuff within the environment and training ground can be strong but you're not quite getting the results. That's definitely been the case for us.
"We're building some really positive things away from the football pitch and there's a lot of excitement around the club with the change of ownership, and now it's down to us to start producing on the pitch and backing up some of the positive things we're doing. Performances and results like the last two will help.”
Cobblers have won one, lost one and drawn two of their four home league games so far this season.
"I'm looking forward to getting back to Sixfields,” added Hogg. “It's game by game and our mindset is about attacking the next one as best as we can. We'll rest, recover and be ready for Tuesday and we'll give it a right good go.
"Saturday was a good step in the right direction but straight away I was thinking about Tuesday and how we can back up the performance and what we need to do on Monday to make sure we're ready to go.
“We'll attack the week but it's also important for the club and the supporters to enjoy the wins. We had close to 500 travel up, a great effort, and to give something to shout and get behind was really nice. I'm proud of the commitment of the players and the fans.”
