Following the success of last year's appeal, which saw more than 2,000 presents donated for local people in need, NLive Radio is aiming to secure 50 collection points across Northampton and he surrounding area as it prepares for this year's campaign.

The appeal, which will run throughout November and into early December, collects new, unwrapped gifts for people of all ages. Donations are distributed through local charities supporting families, children, parents, older people and vulnerable members of the community.

NLive Radio is inviting hospitality and leisure venues, local businesses, community centres, libraries, places of worship and other public-facing organisations to host collection boxes and become part of the appeal.

The station is also encouraging schools, youth groups, community organisations and workplaces to adopt the appeal and organise collections within their own organisations, with donations either collected by the NLive Radio team or dropped off at the station's studios.

Confirmed charity partners for this year's appeal include the Doddridge Centre, Baby Basics Northampton, The Spring Charity and Hope Centre, all of whom will help distribute gifts to local people who need support over the festive period.

The station has also announced that Wilson Browne Solicitors has signed up as the headline sponsor of the 2026 appeal.

Wayne Jenkins, Business Development & Marketing Director at Wilson Browne Solicitors, said:

“We are delighted to be the headline sponsor of this year’s NLive Christmas Present Appeal. As a firm that is deeply committed to supporting our local communities, we know how important initiatives like this can be for families, older people and vulnerable individuals who may be facing challenges this Christmas.

The appeal brings together businesses, organisations and individuals across Northamptonshire to make a real difference, and we are proud to play a part. Every donated gift is more than just a present; it is a gesture of kindness and a reminder that people in our community care. We encourage everyone who can to get involved and help make this year’s appeal the most successful yet.”

Rebecca Steers, Station Manager at NLive Radio, said:

"The response from Northampton last Christmas was incredible, with thousands of gifts donated to help local people. Every year we're reminded of just how generous our community is, and we're excited to bring the appeal back for 2026."

"We're really grateful of the support of Wilson Browne Solicitors as without their support the appeal wouldn’t be able to go ahead”

A formal launch of the appeal, including details of collection locations and how people can donate, will be announced in the coming weeks.

Organisations interested in supporting the appeal can find out more at NLive Radio Christmas Present Appeal or by emailing [email protected].
