Northamptonshire housebuilder supports mental health charity with football kits sponsorship
David Wilson Homes has expressed its continued support for mental health by sponsoring a brand-new kit for The Man Cave UK charity football team.

The housebuilder’s support directly paid for a full 22-man playing kit for the newly formed team which was unveiled for the first time in their recent match against J&J Global Fulfilment FC.
The Man Cave UK is a mental health charity that provides safe spaces where men can come together, talk openly and access support. The football team has been created to offer another way for people to engage with the charity in a relaxed and welcoming environment while promoting physical activity, wellbeing and friendship.

Lee Baldwin from The Man Cave UK, said: “This support will help us raise awareness of The Man Cave UK and the work we do. For many people, walking into a new environment for a meeting can feel daunting if they haven't experienced it before. By offering a sporting activity, it creates a more informal and accessible way for people to engage and become part of our community.
“We would like to thank David Wilson Homes for this sponsorship. The players are really pleased and excited to wear the new kit, and it gives everyone a real sense of pride.”
The team is open to anyone aged 18 and over, with current members ranging from 18 to their late 50s. As a mixed-ability side, the focus is firmly on participation rather than competition, creating an inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy football while building friendships and supporting their mental wellbeing.
Ben Kalus, Managing Director at David Wilson Homes South Midlands, said: “We're delighted to support The Man Cave UK by sponsoring the team's new kit. Community is at the heart of everything we do, and we recognise the vital role charities like The Man Cave UK play in supporting people's mental health and wellbeing.
"We hope the new kit gives the players a real sense of pride as they represent the charity, helping to raise awareness of the fantastic work it does while encouraging more people to get involved."
