Oak Furnitureland to open new Northampton showroom TOMORROW – with free goodie bags for first 100 visitors

The business will open a new showroom at Riverside Retail Park on Saturday (October 24).

The 12,500 sq ft showroom will feature furniture for living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms and home offices.

The retailer said the opening weekend will include free goodie bags for the first 100 visitors and the launch of its new Santorini sofa range.

The Santorini range will be available in several sizes, eight leather colours and four neutral fabrics. Features include an extending motion chaise and an adjustable telescopic headrest.

Customers will also be able to try the Cassius CineLuxe sofa, which has built-in speakers, a console panel, heated and vibrating seats, and cup coolers.

Other ranges on display will include the Noah collection of solid mango wood dining tables, sideboards and TV units, alongside the Oaklee dining set and sideboard, which feature bevelled edges and a walnut finish.

The new showroom has created seven jobs, including positions in sales, showroom management and customer support.

Ruth Johnson, store manager at the new Northampton showroom, said: “There’s nothing quite like trying new potential furniture for yourself- whether that’s a new sofa for family movie nights, or choosing the perfect dining table for a full house at Christmas. We’re excited to open our doors and help shoppers in Northampton to do just that this week.

“We’ve got a brilliant opening weekend planned, with goodie bags for our first 100 visitors and the chance to try out our brand-new Santorini sofa range. Our new team can’t wait to meet everyone and help them find pieces they’ll love for years to come.”

Alex Fisher, chief executive of Oak Furnitureland, said: “It’s exciting to welcome Northampton to our network of 70 showrooms across the UK, creating seven local jobs and bringing our furniture to even more customers. The new showroom brings our Whole Home offering to life, helping customers find inspiration and choose stylish, properly made furniture at outstanding prices. We can’t wait to open the doors and welcome customers from across Northamptonshire.”

The retailer launched a Lifetime Furniture Guarantee last year, covering the structural framework of its cabinet and upholstered furniture collections. It also offers interest-free credit options.

The showroom will be open from 9am to 8pm Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm on Saturdays and 10.30am to 5pm on Sundays. Sunday viewing will be available from 10.30am to 11am only.
