Far Cotton and Delapre residents invited to have their say as Draft Neighbourhood Plan unveiled
A major milestone has been reached for Far Cotton and Delapre as the Community Council publishes its draft Neighbourhood Plan: a document shaped by local people to guide how the area grows and changes in the years ahead.

The plan highlights what matters most to residents: protecting green spaces, improving safety, supporting local shops and amenities, and ensuring new development respects the character of the neighbourhood.
After months of evidence‑gathering, steering group meetings, and community conversations, the council is now asking residents to review the draft and share their views. The council says the final plan will only be as strong as the community voices behind it, and is urging residents to get involved.
If you live in Far Cotton or Delapre and would like to have your say, please visit: www.farcottonanddelapre-cc.gov.uk/draft-plan-consultation to read the plan and give your feedback. The consultation is open until Monday 16th November.
