Celebrated British Egyptian visual artist Heba Gabr brings her internationally acclaimed practice to Northamptonshire this autumn, launching a solo exhibition of 14 artworks at The Shoosmith Gallery at Delapré Abbey from Tuesday 27th October to Friday 18th December.
Gabr, named Best Arab Expressionist Artist in the World (2018–2019) at the London International Art Exhibition [London International Art Exhibition Heba Gabr], delivers an immersive experience that masterfully bridges cultural memory and human emotion. Grounded in a classical foundation from Alexandria University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, her practice spans oils, and mixed media, yet raw charcoal remains her defining signature. Using high-contrast light and shadow, Gabr drags hidden forms and unspoken truths onto the surface, laying bare universal threads of resilience, identity, and shared connection.
Having previously exhibited globally, including the Anima Mundi Festival and The Body Language Exhibition in Venice [Heba Gabr Zervas Art], Gabr’s upcoming presentation marks an exciting opportunity for UK collectors and local art enthusiasts to experience her powerful works up close in Northampton. All showcased artworks will be available for purchase.
