Dozens of Northampton and West Northamptonshire roads set to close for repairs and maintenance over coming weeks
Motorists across Northampton and West Northamptonshire are being warned of dozens of temporary road closures over the coming weeks as maintenance, resurfacing and utility works are carried out.
West Northamptonshire Council has published a series of public notices setting out restrictions affecting roads across the town and surrounding villages during October and November.
Most closures are expected to last just one day, although some will continue for two or three days.
The restrictions are being introduced under temporary traffic orders which can remain legally in force for up to 18 months. However, this does not mean the roads will be closed throughout that period.
