Morris dancers, foraging and family fun at Canons Ashby Apple Harvest Weekend
A popular autumn celebration featuring Morris dancers, traditional games and family activities is returning to Canons Ashby.
The National Trust property will hold its annual Apple Harvest Weekend on Saturday, September 26 and Sunday, September 27, from 10.30am to 4pm.
Visitors can enjoy craft activities, a tombola and stalls selling seasonal products and handmade gifts, while the house will feature harvest mice displays and the church will have harvest decorations.
Harvest Foraging Walks will also run from 10.30am to 11.30am each day, exploring edible fruits, herbs, mushrooms and plants.
The event is free, although normal property admission charges apply. Foraging walks cost £16 and require advance booking.
