Northampton Town and Port Vale League Two fixture postponed
Northampton’s game against Port Vale later this month has been postponed due to international call-ups.
The League Two fixture at Vale Park was scheduled for Saturday, September 26th, but will now be rearranged due to international call-ups in the Port Vale squad. Cobblers could also have players selected to represent their countries at the end of the month.
The autumn international break this season has been extended to take place across two weekends - September 26th/27th through to October 3rd/4th. Cobblers are currently due to host Oldham on October 3rd but that fixture is also vulnerable due to international call-ups, although nothing has been confirmed.
No new date for the Port Vale game is yet known, but any supporter who has purchased tickets has been asked to keep them save until a re-arranged date is confirmed, at which point refund details will be announced.
