Kevin Nolan linked with quick return to management after Cobblers sacking
Kevin Nolan is reportedly being lined up to take charge at Andy Carroll’s Dagenham & Redbridge.
The 43-year-old has been out of work since he was sacked by Northampton last month after a run of one win in 16 games left the team in the League One relegation zone. He spent just over 14 months in charge at Sixfields.

According to Pete O'Rourke, Nolan is now being lined up for a return to management at Dagenham, who are 13th in the National League South, the sixth tier of English football. The profile around the Daggers has risen dramatically since KSI's takeover last month.
Carroll, who is good friends with Nolan after the two played together at both West Ham and Newcastle, is currently in caretaker charge after KSI sacked Lee Bradbury. The 37-year-old striker joined the East London outfit as a player last summer, and he’s taken eight points from six games.
“Management was never something I wanted to do,” Carroll told The Sun last month. “But I always knew that if there was a chance for me to do it, I could. It's something that is exciting me at the minute. I'm really happy with the way it is going, but I never thought about it and it just fell on my lap.”
