Cobblers without duo as Hogg makes four changes for FA Cup tie
Cobblers first-team regulars Janoi Donacien and Joe O’Brien-Whitmarsh are both absent for today’s FA Cup tie against York City.
Donacien, who has started the last seven games in all competitions, has been left out of the squad as a precaution, while O’Brien-Whitmarsh is missing for personal reasons.
Chris Hogg has made two further changes for the first round tie at LNER Stadium, dropping Josh Powell and Connor Evans to the bench. In come Max Dyche, Tyrese Fornah, James Maxwell and Elliott List.
Clubs are allowed to name up to nine substitutes in the FA Cup so the likes of Kamarai Swyer and Conor McCarthy are also on the bench.
York manager Scott Lindsey will be watching the game from the stands as he serves a one-game touchline ban.
