But cases involving a serious offence are heard by a crown court judge.

The paedophile Corby bus driver groomed a vulnerable boy to try and get him to engage in vile sex acts. He was given a suspended prison sentence.
10. ALAN FITZGERALD
The Rushden conman took payments from elderly and vulnerable people after promising to carry out work for them. He never did the work and was jailed for 40 months for fraud.
11. ROSS COLEMAN
The paedophile former police special from Higham Ferrers was caught streaming videos of vile child abuse. He was spared from prison and handed unpaid work.
12. LEE STEWART
The Corby bigamist married a woman despite not divorcing his first wife. He then produced a fake divorce certificate when he was investigated by police and was given a suspended sentence.
