Northampton Startup Think Decor Recognised in Two National Business Awards
Northampton-based technology startup Think Decor is celebrating a major milestone after receiving recognition in two national UK business awards programmes, putting the town's growing technology sector in the spotlight.

The company has been named a finalist in the Best Business Startup category at the UK Small Business Awards 2026.
Adding to the achievement, Think Decor has also been officially shortlisted in the 2026 Software Development Awards, organised by Business Awards UK.

The two announcements mark an exciting period for the Northampton business as it works to make interior design and home improvement more accessible through artificial intelligence.
Founded by Mujahid Mohammed, Think Decor is a Northampton-based technology business developing AI-powered tools that help people visualise changes to their homes before spending money.
Its platform, powered by Mantha AI, allows users to upload photographs of their rooms and experiment with different interior styles, furniture, colours, flooring and decorative finishes.
The technology aims to help homeowners, renters and interior design professionals make more informed decisions while reducing uncertainty around home improvement projects.

The company's recognition in both startup and software development awards highlights two aspects of its journey: building a new business and developing technology for the home design industry.
For Think Decor, being recognised nationally is an opportunity to showcase the potential of innovative businesses emerging from Northampton.
Founder Mujahid Mohammed said:
"Being recognised by two national business awards programmes is an incredibly proud moment for Think Decor. We started with a vision to make interior design smarter, easier and more accessible through technology."
"Being able to represent Northampton on a national stage makes this achievement even more meaningful. We believe great technology companies can be built right here in our town, and we're excited about what the future holds."
