Northampton restaurant in line for honours at national curry awards
A Northampton restaurant will represent the town this weekend having been shortlisted for a top award at one of the curry industry’s biggest events.

The Realm in Wellingborough Road is aiming to be named the Newcomer of the Year at the 19th annual Bangladesh Caterers Association Awards on Sunday, 1 November.
The pan-Asian restaurant launched in December last year having taken over the former Spread Eagle pub and has proved a huge hit with diners.
The winner will be announced at a sold-out gala dinner for around 1,000 guests, taking place at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge hotel in London.
BCA President Oli Khan MBE said: “The talents of British curry chefs are revered around the world. These awards are a celebration of excellence, where we honour the passion, creativity and hard work that make our industry truly extraordinary.”
