Northampton-based business continues notching fundraising feats
Travis Perkins has taken its fundraising total for Alzheimer’s Society to in excess of £750,000 – and is already looking to achieve an even bigger landmark.

The customers, colleagues and suppliers of the UK’s largest builders’ merchant have joined forces to raise more than £300,000 for its nominated charity this year alone.
Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s only dementia charity giving vital support to those who need it, funding groundbreaking research and campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be.
Dementia is the UK’s biggest killer and one in three people born today will develop dementia in their lifetime.
The money raised for the charity – which also includes funds for Alzheimer’s Scotland - has come via hundreds of events held in and around Travis Perkins’ nationwide network of more than 500 branches.
In recent months, these have included charity golf days, a colleague running 100 miles in a day, a clay pigeon shooting event and various charity walks. The current total raised stands at £797,488.
Alison Wong, Group Head of Marketing for Travis Perkins, said: “2026 has been a fantastic year of fundraising for Alzheimer’s Society and we are all extremely proud of what we have achieved as a collective involving colleagues, customers and suppliers.
“Virtually everyone in the country can resonate with the brilliant work that Alzheimer’s Society does through either a friend or a family member who has been affected and it’s certainly a charity partnership which has truly engaged everyone involved with Travis Perkins.
“The £1 million milestone we would all love to achieve is getting closer and everyone is determined to play their part in helping us raise more vital funds for an incredible charity.”
Lorna Donnelly, Corporate Account Manager for Alzheimer’s Society, said: “The support we have had from Travis Perkins – whether it be the customers, colleagues, suppliers or the Leadership Team – has been nothing short of phenomenal.
“The money raised will have a transformational impact, providing a lifeline of support through Alzheimer’s Society’s vital Dementia Support Services and funding groundbreaking research to help bring us closer to a world where dementia no longer devastates lives.
“It will take a society to beat dementia. Together, with the incredible support from Travis Perkins, we have a brilliant opportunity to make a real and lasting difference for people affected by dementia.”
