Halloween and horror market creeps into Northampton this Saturday
If your Halloween costume is still a bin bag and good intentions, help has arrived just in time!

Stalls from the Crypt, the goth, horror, punk and alternative market that pops up across the Midlands, is back in Northampton at The Black Diamond on Lower Harding Street this Saturday (17th October). It runs from 11am to 4pm and entry is FREE.
Every stall has been booked, so expect a packed hall of independent makers, artists and sellers. Anyone with a soft spot for the strange and the spooky will be in their element, with gothic treasures, horror punk essentials, odd curiosities, one-off artwork and new and second-hand bargains you won't find on the high street.

A lot of the stallholders make everything themselves, so it's a chance to meet the local artists behind the work and pick up something nobody else at the Halloween party will be wearing. All the money goes straight to small independent businesses.
It's a good family day out too, and younger ghouls are very welcome!
That's not all! Northampton's biggest vintage emporium Vintage Retreat is in the same building, with racks of vintage clothes, homeware and furniture to browse, so it's easy to make a full day of it. When the treasure hunting gets too much, The Black Diamond Café is there for a coffee and a quiet sit down.
Adrian, events manager at The Black Diamond, said: "We're so pleased to finally have Stalls from the Crypt here at The Black Diamond. Every stall has gone, so it's going to be busy, and there'll be some amazing things on sale from people who make it all themselves. Come and have a nosy, get yourself sorted for the end of the month and grab a coffee in the café while you're here."
Stalls from the Crypt is at The Black Diamond, Lower Harding Street, Northampton NN1 2JL, on Saturday 17th October from 11am to 4pm. Entry is free. Find out more at bdiamond.co.uk or follow Stalls from the Crypt on Facebook and Instagram.
