Dancing to success with the support of a Northampton business
Dance prodigy Blake Jessup-Blincowe has waltzed his way to another incredible achievement at a leading dance event. Blake appeared at the Dance Promoter’s Association Summer Festival alongside his partner Josie Byrnes. This competition appearance was made possible with the generous support of local dealership, Croyland.

Despite only dancing together for five weeks, the pair have found their rhythm and are now in perfect lockstep. The duo secured 5th place in the Under 14 Ballroom category and 7th place in the Under 14 Latin.
The Dance Promoter’s Association is one of the biggest competitions of the year, and dancers of all abilities travel across the country to compete. This competition was their Junior debut, and the pair have set their sights on achieving further impressive accomplishments.

Blake is 12 years old from Sywell in Northampton and has been dancing since he was six. He dreams of one day becoming a professional dancer and opening his own dance studio. Croyland dealership has helped him to pursue his passion with their kind-hearted sponsorship.
Blake’s mum Kelly said: “We’re so proud of what Blake has achieved, and it is all possible with Croyland’s continued support. Both Blake and I greatly appreciate it.” She said Croyland’s sponsorship has allowed Kelly to fund lessons, competition entry fees, costumes, dance shoes and other necessary expenses.
The Rushden-based business has pledged to support Blake as he pursues his dance dreams. Blake said: "It's been very exciting to dance in more competitions, and I'm going to continue to work hard to make my way into the U14's for my first year in Juniors. I'm really looking forward to it."
Mark Swindells, Croyland General Manager, added: “We’re thrilled to see Blake continuing to excel in competitions and we are very excited to see where he goes in his dancing career!”
