Northampton town centre will be transformed by a colourful light parade, live entertainment and cultural celebrations when its Diwali Festival of Lights returns this autumn.
The 26th annual event will take place in Market Square on Saturday, October 31, running from 10am until 8pm.
Visitors will be able to enjoy henna painting, saree dressing, stalls and cultural food and drink throughout the day.
Live stage entertainment is due to run from 1pm until 8pm, before one of the highlights of the celebrations takes place in the evening.

At 6pm, a light parade will make its way through Northampton town centre before finishing in Market Square, where the festivities will continue.
The Diwali Winter Festival of Lights is organised by the Indian Hindu Welfare Organisation and supported by Northampton Town Council, West Northamptonshire Council and Northampton Town Centre BID alongside a number of other organisations.
This year marks the 26th staging of the event in Northampton.
