From F1 politics to greenwashing: Silverstone Museum announces new motorsport heritage event

Silverstone Museum is inviting researchers and motorsport enthusiasts to help shape a special event exploring everything from Formula 1 politics to greenwashing and women in racing.

The museum will host its Unlocking Research forum on Saturday, November 28, bringing together academics to explore the history, culture and wider impact of motorsport.

But rather than setting the entire agenda itself, Silverstone Museum is inviting people to put themselves forward as speakers and share their own research and areas of interest.

Potential subjects include the history of motor racing, current issues in Formula 1, commercialisation, women in motorsport, politics, technology and greenwashing or sportswashing.
