Pendulum and John Newman among acts to DJ at Silverstone T1 Afterparty
Silverstone has today announced the DJs who will play its popular T1 Afterparty at the British Grand Prix this summer.
Fans will be able to enjoy an electric mix of chart-topping talent and high-energy dance icons across four nights when the event returns from Thursday, July 2 to Sunday, July 5.
John Newman will kick things off with a hybrid live PA set on Thursday followed by Rudimental the following day with their high-impact drum and bass sound.
Saturday’s DJ set will see legendary live electronic powerhouse Pendulum bring their high-octane rock-electronic fusion before global house music favourite MK closes the celebrations on Sunday with feel-good dancefloor anthems.
John Newman said: “I'm such a huge, huge fan of formula 1, Silverstone and music so, yeah, how could I not look forward to this one. Can't wait to see you all there.”
Having attracted record crowds of 500,000 last summer, the home of British motorsport is set to go bigger and better this year.
Details of who will be performing at the T1 Afterparty follows last year’s announcement that global superstar David Guetta will headline Silverstone’s Main Stage on Thursday night.
More major music acts are set to be revealed in the coming months as part of an expanded four-day entertainment programme.

“We’re thrilled to unveil this truly legendary line-up for what promises to be another memorable British Grand Prix weekend.”
Official T1 Afterparty tickets are on sale now, offering fans the opportunity to keep the celebrations going long after the chequered flag.
