Saints star Hendy to start for England 'A' against Argentina XV
Saints star George Hendy has been picked to start on the left wing for England ‘A’ against an Argentina XV at The Rec on Friday night (kick-off 7.45pm).
Tom Lockett is also set to be involved as he has been named among the replacements, but James Pater, who was also selected in the wider squad earlier this week, will not feature.
England ‘A’ head coach Mark Mapletoft said: “This group has shown excellent determination in a short training week, and we’re excited to see them come together for the first time this season at The Rec.
“The programme continues to play an important role in strengthening our pathway, giving players the chance to make a difference in an England shirt while continuing their development in a high-performance environment.”
The non-capped match will be streamed live on the England Rugby YouTube channel and Premier Sports.
