After travelling up and down the country to cover the Cobblers over the past 12 months, reporter James Heneghan hands out his own awards for the 2019/20 season...
9. Best individual performance
Charlie Goode's commanding display against Derby in the FA Cup is just squeezed out by 90 stunning minutes from Callum Morton at Cheltenham. Two crucial goals capped a tireless, relentless, all-action performance at Whaddon Road.
10. Best team performance
In a close call between the two superb play-off wins, Cheltenham gets it. To come from 2-0 down away from home, at a team like Cheltenham, and in such convincing, dominant fashion, was simply phenomenal & gave them so much belief. Photo: Pete Norton
11. Best stat
No team in League Two history had ever lost by two goals or more in a home first leg of a play-off semi-final and gone on to reach the final - that was until the Cobblers came along.
12. Miss of the season
Sorry, Andy, but this was a shocker! Four yards out, the goal gaping, 1-1... and he poked wide of the post. A few minutes later Macclesfield won it up the other end - https://twitter.com/questtv/status/1162806251295825920?lang=en Photo: Pete Norton
