After travelling up and down the country to cover the Cobblers over the past 12 months, reporter James Heneghan hands out his own awards for the 2019/20 season...
13. Best moment
Where to start? There were many, especially in the play-offs. But when Sam Hoskins found the bottom corner from Mark Marshall's pass after 81 minutes at Wembley, you knew the Cobblers were on their way back to League One.
14. Worst journey
Miserable weather, heavy traffic, a flat tyre, arrived 20 minutes after kick-off, lost 4-0 and two serious injuries. Worst. Boxing Day. Ever. Glad not to be heading back to Crawley Town any time soon.
15. Turning point
Unsuaul for a defeat to be the key moment of a promotion-winning campaign but Town used their dreadful 3-0 loss as a springboard, winning seven of the next eight to lay the platform for their play-off charge. Photo: Pete Norton
