Chris Hogg willing to 'take a few hits' after fans vent their frustration
Chris Hogg says he is willing to ‘roll with the punches and take a few hits’ after Cobblers supporters vented their frustration during and after Tuesday’s defeat to Oldham.
Town were bidding to make it successive Sixfields wins for the first time in more than a year but instead they slumped to another midweek defeat. It remains over three years since they last won a home league game on a Tuesday night.

Murmurs of discontent among home supporters increased as the game went on, particularly after Ollie Norburn fired Oldham ahead with 20 minutes to play, and it all culminated in boos at the full-time whistle.
Asked about the reaction at full-time, Hogg said: "I feel frustrated and the players are frustrated so we're all in the same boat. We live in a results business. Performances have been pretty good and we've picked up a few results.
"Ten days is a long time. Everyone was super happy and super confident and super secure with who we were after the Colchester game. Ten days later you have the flip of emotions.
"As disappointed as I am, I'm realistic as to where we're at and we have a long way to go. We have to earn the right over the course of time. It's never going to be easy and it's always going to be a scrap. You look traditionally in League Two, many teams have slow starts, some don't even get going until January and then they end up in the top three or four.
"You have to hang tight sometimes, take a few hits, roll with the punches, but if you can string things together, you can propel yourself up the league and history shows you that.
"Lots of things can happen yet and it's important to have a bit of perspective. It's a 10-day spell and it's one performance. The first half at Accrington wasn't what we wanted but it's such a short span of time and we have to be level with everything.”
