From champagne overlooking the Great Lake to private dining and exploring the Palace after the crowds have gone home, Blenheim Palace has launched a new collection of VIP experiences for special occasions.

Visitors can now experience Blenheim Palace away from the crowds with a new collection of private and bespoke packages designed for birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions.

The Oxfordshire UNESCO World Heritage Site has launched its Private and Bespoke Experiences, giving individuals, couples and small groups the opportunity to see parts of the Palace and its grounds that visitors would not ordinarily experience.

Packages start from £250 per person and can include private access to rooms not normally open to the public, after-hours visits to the Gardens and dining experiences.

Guests could raise a glass of champagne as the sun sets over the Great Lake, arrange a private meal in surroundings associated with Sir Winston Churchill or explore the Palace after it has closed to the public.

Ready-to-book options include Morning and Afternoon Celebration packages for occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries.

There is also a VIP Sir Winston Churchill Experience and a Park & Gardens VIP Experience, while the VIP Evening Experience combines private after-hours access with food and hospitality.

For something even more unusual, Blenheim Palace says it can create completely bespoke itineraries around guests' interests.

Possibilities include spending a morning with the Head Gardener, discovering the Kitchen Garden as part of a farm-to-fork experience or even arranging a private orchestra performance in the Palace's Long Library.

Heather Carter, managing director - heritage businesses at Blenheim Palace, said: “We know that some of life’s biggest moments deserve to be celebrated somewhere extraordinary, and Blenheim Palace is a truly memorable setting for just that.”

She added that the experiences would allow guests to enjoy everything from private dining and exclusive access to activities with members of the Palace team.

Private experiences are available subject to availability, while guests wanting something different can work directly with the Blenheim Palace team to create their own itinerary.
