West Northamptonshire construction trainee lands job after completing free Skills Bootcamp
Free construction training has helped a learner secure employment, with more places now available for adults looking to develop new skills
A West Northamptonshire resident has secured a job in construction after completing a free training programme designed to help adults develop new skills and find employment.
The learner completed a Skills Bootcamp supported by West Northamptonshire Council before securing a construction role.

According to the council, the individual has already impressed their employer, who has extended their placement following their initial success.
The learner credited the programme with helping them develop the confidence, skills and positive attitude needed to succeed.
They said: "It's the training and positive attitude you gave me, because I've got positive people around me and people that actually want me to learn and succeed."
West Northamptonshire Council is now encouraging other residents to consider taking advantage of the training opportunities.
Free Skills Bootcamp places are currently available for people aged 19 and over who want to retrain, gain qualifications or pursue a career in construction.
Transport is also provided.
