Young footballers at Northamptonshire village club celebrate new kit thanks to sponsorship from housebuilder
Young footballers from a Northamptonshire village are celebrating a new look on the pitch after receiving sponsorship for their team kit from a local housebuilder.
Harpole FC's Under-11 girls' team has been given a new football kit thanks to Davidsons Homes, which is currently building properties at its Roman Fields development in the village.
The sponsorship will help the young players represent their club throughout the season while supporting grassroots girls' football in the area.
With girls' football continuing to grow in popularity, local clubs such as Harpole FC provide opportunities for children to develop their skills, build confidence and enjoy being part of a team.

Simon Tyler, sales director at Davidsons Homes, said: “It's wonderful to see the girls looking so proud in their new kits, and we're delighted to be supporting Harpole FC this season.
“Local sports clubs are such an important part of village life, giving children the chance to get active, make friends and enjoy being part of a team.
“With our Roman Fields development taking shape in Harpole, we're really keen to build lasting relationships within the local community, and supporting the girls is a lovely way for us to get involved.”
The housebuilder said the sponsorship formed part of its efforts to support local clubs, schools and community organisations in areas where it is developing new homes.
