These 11 Northampton and West Northamptonshire venues have received top marks for food hygiene – is your favourite on the list?
A popular Northampton pub, a Wellingborough Road bar and a village diner are among 11 businesses across West Northamptonshire to receive the highest possible food hygiene rating.
The latest results published by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) reveal a wide variety of establishments have secured five-star ratings following inspections carried out on September 29 and 30.
The businesses range from pubs and takeaway premises to a nursery, school catering provider and independent food retailers.
Among the Northampton venues celebrating top marks is the Britannia Inn on Old Bedford Road, which was inspected on September 29.

Corkers Bar, at 361 Wellingborough Road, also received five stars following an inspection on September 30.
Another familiar name on the list is The Bold Dragoon, at 48 High Street in Weston Favell, which was awarded the maximum rating after inspectors visited on September 30.
The five-star rating is the highest available under the national Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, which assesses standards of food handling, cleanliness and food safety management.
And it is not just pubs and bars that have impressed inspectors.

Alphabet Day Nursery, on Hunsbury Hill Road in Northampton, received five stars following its September 29 inspection.
Kingswood at The Bramptons Primary, based at The Bramptons Primary School on Harlestone Road in Chapel Brampton, also secured the maximum rating.
Olympus Care Services, at Obelisk House on Obelisk Rise in Northampton, was another establishment awarded five stars.
Elsewhere in West Northamptonshire, Riverview Diner, at Riverview Restaurant on Station Road in Cogenhoe, was awarded five stars following an inspection on September 29.
China House, a takeaway at 19 Sheaf Street in Daventry, also achieved the top rating after inspectors visited on September 30.
Smaller businesses feature on the list too, including Bekah's Bakes, registered in the NN4 postcode area, and Wrightsnutsandseeds, at 3 Sentry Close in Northampton.
Valentina Zaiat, another business registered in the NN4 area, completes the 11 establishments receiving five-star ratings.
The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme is operated by local authorities in partnership with the FSA, with businesses assessed on a scale from zero to five.
Inspectors examine how food is prepared, handled and stored, the cleanliness and condition of premises, and how businesses manage food safety.
A five-star rating means hygiene standards were found to be very good at the time of inspection.
