Northampton Christmas carol concert to raise money for lifesaving air ambulance charity
“Every person who attends these events is helping to keep our crews available 24/7, 365 days a year, when every second counts.”
A Christmas carol concert is set to take place at a historic Northampton church next month to raise funds for a lifesaving air ambulance charity.
The Air Ambulance Service (TAAS) is organising the festive event at The Holy Sepulchre Church in Northampton on Wednesday, December 2, from 6pm to 8pm.
The concert will feature performances from a range of choirs, alongside festive refreshments including mulled wine and a Christmas tombola offering prizes.

Money raised will support the charity's Big Bases Appeal, which aims to provide facilities for Your Local Air Ambulance and the National Children's Air Ambulance to continue their work.
The Northampton concert is one of four being organised by the charity across the region in the run-up to Christmas.
Further events will take place at St Andrews Church in Rugby on December 4, Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon on December 8 and St Mary's Church in Melton Mowbray on December 10.
Each concert will run from 6pm to 8pm.
According to the charity, it receives no government or National Lottery funding and relies on public donations and fundraising activities to support its emergency missions.
Morgan Turnbull, junior events manager at The Air Ambulance Service, said: “Our Christmas carol concerts are a way for us to teach the local community about our charity and our vital missions.
“Every person who attends these events is helping to keep our crews available 24/7, 365 days a year, when every second counts.”
The charity is encouraging residents to attend the concerts and help raise money towards its appeal.
