Police launch crackdown on nuisance e-bikes, e-scooters and motorcycles across Northampton
Police are targeting nuisance e-bikes, e-scooters, off-road bikes and motorcycles across Northampton following concerns raised by residents about antisocial behaviour.
Northampton Neighbourhood Policing Team has launched Operation Stormecho, an initiative aimed at tackling problems involving these vehicles and identifying areas where enforcement is needed.
The team says residents have identified nuisance riding as a priority, prompting officers to take action across the town.
As part of the operation, police are encouraging people to report incidents and identify locations where nuisance riding is causing problems.

A spokesperson for Northampton Neighbourhood Policing Team said feedback would help officers target patrols, prioritise hotspots and improve community safety.
The team is also encouraging residents to complete an anonymous survey about their experiences and concerns.
Responses will be shared with neighbourhood policing teams and used to shape future activity, including enforcement and communication with local communities.
The survey also asks residents about their confidence in Northamptonshire Police and their perceptions of crime.
Officers are encouraging people to continue sharing information through Northamptonshire Talking, the force's website or at local police surgeries.
Residents can complete the Operation Stormecho survey and register for local policing alerts by visiting https://orlo.uk/Mw8Z6.
Police say the information gathered will help them better understand local priorities.
