These are the faces of some of Northamptonshire's most notorious and high-profile killers and crooks put behind bars during 2020.
Their crimes include murder of a 63-year-old grandmother shot dead outside her own home, stabbings, manslaughter, sex offences and violence, stealing £300,000-worth of cigarettes in a string of burglaries from supermarkets and taking treasured heirlooms.
This is not a list of all offenders jailed who went through the court system, but includes those who were sentenced for some of the most serious offences in the county during the last 12 months

OTIS BARRETT, 26, was jailed for nine years, four months; while MATTHEW BROWN, 30, and 26-year-old TERRANCE MARK BROWN were sentenced to nine years each after netting £300,000-worth of cigarettes in a series of 52 supermarket burglaries in Northampton between January and May this year.

MARIS VOLTS had lunch with his victim in a Gold Street flat before the 52-year-old stabbed him three times in the head in a booze fuelled rage. Volts, from Northampton, was jailed for 91⁄2 years.

KEITH STREETON, 73, of Daventry was convicted of 11 child sex offences dating back to 1981 in November. He was jailed for 23 years for crimes including rape, indecent assaults, indecency and sexual assaults.

Gold-toothed Rushden drug dealer CAMERON OWEN thought he was untouchable. He wasn't. Police arrested him and he was jailed for four years.
