These are the faces of some of Northamptonshire's most notorious and high-profile killers and crooks put behind bars during 2020.
Their crimes include murder of a 63-year-old grandmother shot dead outside her own home, stabbings, manslaughter, sex offences and violence, stealing £300,000-worth of cigarettes in a string of burglaries from supermarkets and taking treasured heirlooms.
This is not a list of all offenders jailed who went through the court system, but includes those who were sentenced for some of the most serious offences in the county during the last 12 months

Bryan Burke, 46, of Blisworth, was sentenced at Northampton Crown Court in May to six years and six months in prison after pleading guilty to breaking into two houses and attempting to break into another

HASSAN SAID, 19, and 21-year-old ASRIEL McLEOD were jailed for a total of seven years and eight months between them two years ager stabbing a teenager in a Wellingborough club in 2018 .

JAY TREW of Daventry was charged with robbery against a taxi driver and two counts of assault against an emergency worker. In March. The 33-year-old,was sentenced to five years and two months in prison after being found guilty.

SIMON WIGGINS, 48, was given nine life sentences in January for offences against women spanning more than 21 years. He will serve a minimum nine years and 250 days with his life terms running concurrently.
