Northampton care home raises funds for new born baby charity

Residents and staff at Brampton View Care Home in Chapel Brampton have been raising funds for Baby Basics Northampton, a local charity that provides essential items and support for vulnerable families with new born babies who are going through difficult times.  The charity was nominated by Pamela, one of the residents at Brampton View, whose daughter Margaret is part of Baby Basics, her dedication inspired everyone to get involved.

The home organised a series of fundraising activities including a community coffee morning with home baked cakes and a toiletries and toys donation. Residents, staff, visitors and relatives all contributed generously, creating a wonderful community effort.  Donations included beauty products, monetary gifts and beautiful handmade knitted items produced by the home’s knitting club.

Elina House, General Manager at Brampton View, said: “Everyone at Brampton View is delighted to support such an important cause. We’re very glad to be able to raise awareness and money for the charity. The funds and items collected will help Baby Basics to support families facing financial hardship across Northamptonshire, ensuring their babies have the best possible start in life.”
