We are blessed with a lot of amazing countryside in Northamptonshire, with so many options for different walks across the county.
But what makes a winter walk even better? A conveniently located coffee shop to warm your hands and soul after pounding the pavements and getting your steps in for the day.
Here are seven stunning winter walks in Northampton and beyond, which include a coffee shop.

5. Daventry Country Park
Daventry Country Park offers a range of walks, covering different distances, with the longest being just over six kilometres. Close to the car park, there is a visitor's centre and cafe for the all important after-walk coffee and snack. Photo: WNC

6. Pitsford Reservoir
Pitsford Reservoir is another stunning circular walk around a reservoir and is one of the longer walks in this round up. At just over 10 kilometres, you'll be ready for a well-deserved coffee at the cafe at the top of the main car park. The cafe offers a range of food and drink, which can be enjoyed while the kids play in the playground. Photo: NA

7. Northampton Washlands
Waterside Cafe offers fresh and tasty food for customers to enjoy indoors, or to takeaway while you complete your walk. The cafe is located conveniently just off the Northampton Washlands walk, which starts near Riverside and takes you on a loop along the river into Little Houghton and back again. If you pop off the route, briefly, you can visit the Waterside Cafe, making the walk around eight kilometres. Photo: Waterside Cafe

8. Abington Park
Abington Park needs no introduction. Every knows it's a great, central place to get some fresh air and clock up some steps. The length of the walk can vary - it can be a quick 20 minute stroll or it can be longer by taking different paths. However far you walk, The Park Cafe will be there for a hot drink and refreshment.
