Popular cocktail lounge on Northants market town high street to host ‘autumn cocktails and crafts’ event
A popular cocktail lounge on a Northamptonshire market town high street is hosting an “autumn cocktails and crafts” event next month to celebrate the new season.
The Vault Cocktail Lounge opened on Watling Street East in Towcester in September 2025, with the aim of becoming a relaxing haven where every detail is carefully considered.
The venture was founded by Anthony Walker, who signed a five-year lease of the building after leaving his former role as manager of The Watling Street Village pub.
Anthony’s hope was that the premium cocktail lounge would complement the existing food and drink establishments on the high street, and meet the demand from the changing dynamic in the town with many new houses going up.
The Vault also offers wines, spirits and coffees, and having introduced food five months after opening in February 2026, many have praised the venue as what the area was missing. They also now offer two draught products, Asahi and Cornish Orchards Cider, which have been received well by regulars.
Frosting and Fizz is collaborating with The Vault Cocktail Lounge to host an autumn cocktails and crafts event from 3pm on October 17, and attendees can enjoy 20 percent off food during their time at the venue.
The afternoon will consist of cocktail making, Halloween-inspired drinks, cookie painting, making a mini pumpkin to take home, games and crafts – and promises to be a creative afternoon to sip, create and celebrate the season.
It is priced at £38 per ticket and it is just £10 to secure your spot, with the remaining balance to be paid in advance of the event. You do not want to miss this dreamy afternoon of fizz, cocktails, creativity and good vibes, and ticket sales close at 10pm on October 15.
Frosting and Fizz is the joint venture of Bee Bakes, which specialises in eggless, vegan and gluten-free bakes in Towcester, and event styling and balloons business Dreamcatchers MK. As well as The Vault Cocktail Lounge, they also partner with Sally’s Wine and Whisky Bar on the market town high street.
