It might be hard to believe but it is time for The Great British Bake Off’s 2025 semi-final. The remaining amateurs will be firing up the ovens in a bid to secure a spot in series 16’s grand finale shortly.
Nine weeks ago, 12 home bakers stepped through the doors to the iconic tent for the first time. Over the last couple of months, the cast has been whittled down and just four remain.
Three spots are up for grabs in the 2025 GBBO final - and sadly it means one more baker will be leaving in the coming hours. Channel 4 has revealed what week it will be in the tent tonight (October 28).
But as we approach the finish line, you might be tuning in for the first time in a while - or simply need a reminder of the cast from this year. Here are the bakers who have made it to the semi-final.
Make sure you know exactly what time the show will be on this evening as Channel 4’s schedule decision is confirmed. Plus see what challenges Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith have been cooking up.

9. Toby - Warwickshire - eliminated
29-year-old business development executive Toby is heading into the Bake Off tent. Currently three years in to his “six month” home DIY renovation project, Toby and his girlfriend Syd now live in Warwickshire with their rescue dog Bex - having been born in Sidmouth. Toby takes a stripped-back, healthy approach to baking, and tends to lean more towards classic recipes and flavours as he believes they are classics for a reason! But it’s bread that is his real passion, baking something different every day. Toby was the ninth baker to leave - and just missed out on the final | Channel 4 Photo: Channel 4

10. Aaron - London
38-year-old Aaron lives in London with his boyfriend. He is an Senior Systems Architect and is heading into the Great British Bake Off tent. He is "a passionate baker who fuses French patisserie with Caribbean flair". | Channel 4 Photo: Channel 4

11. Jasmine - London
Born and raised in Edinburgh, 23-year-old Jasmine now calls London home. She is a medical student and learnt the basics of bread and cakes through her Mum and aunts. When she’s not in hospital placements, Jasmine’s likely sea swimming, running half marathons or playing hockey for her university team. | Channel 4 Photo: Channel 4

12. Tom - London
31-year-old Tom grew up in London and is a creative entrepreneur. As a teen, Tom feared his secret love of baking would out him. Now, a member of two queer sports teams and with a boyfriend of three years, the game may be up. Tom grew up in a food obsessed family and when not working you can find him fishing for Sea Bass with his brother, foraging for mushrooms and cooking roasts with his dad. | Channel 4 Photo: Channel 4
