Strictly Come Dancing will not have its usual dance-off this evening - because yet another star has had to withdraw. The results show is set to take place but with a big twist.

La Voix missed Blackpool Week due to injury but has now had to pull out of the competition entirely. The Drag star and partner Aljaž will appear on the show tonight (November 23) to discuss their time on the ballroom floor.

It makes La Voix the fourth contestant to withdraw from series 23. The season has been plagued by injuries.

Why is there no dance-off on Strictly tonight?

The competition has been forced into a last minute shake-up due to yet another injury exit. La Voix has withdrawn from the show after not being able to perform in Blackpool Week.

Originally, due to the rules of the competition, the drag star had secured a bye to week ten but will not return. The unfortunate news was announced during last night’s (November 22) live show.

Due to La Voix’s exit from the series on medical grounds, the BBC has announced there will be no elimination this week. It means that a dance-off will not take place.

Who left Strictly Come Dancing this week?

As previously mentioned, La Voix was forced to withdraw from the competition on medical grounds after suffering an injury prior to Blackpool Week. The drag star is the fourth celeb to pull out of series 23 since the cast was announced back in August.

Due to La Voix’s withdrawal from Strictly no dance-off took place and there was no elimination. The only celeb to leave this week was La Voix and that was as a result of injury.

However, the scores from this week will not go to waste. The BBC explained: “As La Voix has withdrawn from Strictly Come Dancing due to injury there will be no dance off this week - the Judges' Scores and audience votes from Blackpool will be carried over to next week.”
