9. Mini Beast Show at Chester House
This is one for the families looking to entertain their children as the summer holidays draw to a close. There are five opportunities to watch Ranger Stu’s mini beast show at Chester House on August 26 - 11am, 11.45am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.15pm. Back by popular demand, the 30-minute beast talks give attendees the opportunity to meet Stu’s tarantula, scorpion, giant snail, jungle nymph, and millipede. Tickets are £5 per person. 10. Coachfest
Coachfest is back at Wellingborough’s award-winning pub, The Coach and Horses, situated in the heart of the town. Starting at 7pm on August 26, you can go and try their cask ales, ciders, craft keg and barbecue food until 9pm on August 28. Shannondore will be performing at 7pm on Friday, as well as White Room at 9pm. The following day will be the Ouse Valley Singles Club at 7pm and Tom Betts Band at 9pm.
