Hide AdMorris previously played for Shrewsbury and Wycombe and also captained England at all age group levels up to the U20s before joining Portsmouth in the summer of 2019.
But he made only 28 appearances for Pompey and will be a free agent this summer following the end of his contract at Fratton Park.
Portsmouth, who appointed Danny Cowley as manager on a full-time basis last week, have also released Andy Cannon, Charlie Daniels, Jordy Hiwula, Taylor Seymour and Duncan Turnbull.
