How have they all got on in the 12 months since they departed Sixfields? Find out here...
9. Sam Sherring
He also turned down a new deal last summer, opting to drop down a division and sign for MK Dons. It's not gone well for the defender so far though due to injury and Dons' poor season. Played just 13 times in total. Under contract at Stadium MK for another year Photo: Pete Norton
10. Shaun McWilliams
Like Sherring and Appéré, he left Sixfields despite the offer of a new deal, heading to Rotherham but it's not gone to plan as the Millers fell well below pre-season expectations of a promotion challenge. Made 31 appearances in 2024/25, 24 in the league. Has another year left on his deal Photo: Pete Norton
11. Dominic Gape
Was without a club for several months after his release from Sixfields, eventually joining Eastleigh on a short-term deal in October. Played 10 times in the National League before reuniting with Ainsworth at Shrewsbury, making 11 appearances, but will again be a free agent this summer Photo: Pete Norton
12. Tyreece Simpson
Joined Stevenage permanently after leaving Cobblers but made little impact, scoring twice in 25 games, and then in January headed to Colchester on loan where he bagged twice in 20 appearances Photo: Pete Norton
