How have they all got on in the 12 months since they departed Sixfields? Find out here...

5. Kieron Bowie
His excellent two seasons with Cobblers earned him a permanent move back home, joining Hibernian from Fulham for a reported fee of around £600-700k. Missed four months of the season with a hamstring injury but he's scored six goals in 22 games to help Hibs to third in the SPL. Still has three years left on his deal Photo: Ross Parker - SNS Group

6. Marc Leonard
Another one who won admirers on the back of his superb two years with Cobblers. Penned a four-year deal with eventual League One champions Birmingham, reportedly joining from Brighton for £500k plus add-ons. After a frustrating start to the season, he racked up 47 appearances in all competitions but did not score as Blues romped to the title with a record points haul. 7. Max Thompson
It was 18 months ago when Newcastle recalled Thompson. He did not play again that season but joined Chesterfield on a season-long loan last summer. Made 21 appearances in 2024/25. His contract expires this summer Photo: Pete Norton

8. Louis Appéré
Chose to sign for Stevenage instead of stay at Cobblers but injury disrupted his season. Played 17 league games and 20 in total, scoring just the once. Remains under contract for another year Photo: Pete Norton
