5. Ali Koiki
Kept his side locked down for the most part but too many crosses were put into Town's penalty box - from both flanks - in the final 20 or so minutes. The away side's lack of composure on the ball gave him little opportunity to bomb forward... 6 Photo: Pete Norton
6. Shaun McWilliams
Usually such a prominent figure in Town's midfield but not the case here as Grimsby had more bodies and presence in the middle of the park. Too much space on offer for the hosts at times... 5.5 Photo: Pete Norton
7. Jack Sowerby
A frustrating, stifling afternoon against energetic opponents. Neither he nor his midfield partner were able to offer Cobblers' defence much protection, with men constantly getting free on the edge of the penalty box... 5 Photo: Pete Norton
8. Mitch Pinnock
Yet to find his sharpness and spark that he had last season, though some nice skill followed by a decent effort almost got him on the score sheet... 5.5 Photo: Pete Norton
