Ten first-team players are out of contract now the season has ended, although the club have an option on three of them. Here's where we stand ahead of confirmation of the retained list....
1. Lloyd Jones
Started every game since joining at the end of December and has been a key figure in Town's much-improved defensive record. The 25-year-old centre-back will almost certainly be offered a new contract, whether he accepts it is another question. Likely to attract interest from elsewhere.
2. Ryan Watson
Finished the season as Town's top scorer with nine goals in all competitions and he too should offered a new deal. The midfielder has thrived under Jon Brady and looks to be enjoying his football more than ever. Would be a key member of the team in League Two.
3. Shaun McWilliams (option)
The academy graduate made more appearances (36) this season than any other, and ended the campaign with 15 successive starts. Club will almost certainly trigger the option to extend his current deal for another campaign.
4. Alan Sheehan
Impressed whenever he's played, but unlikely to be kept on given his injury record over the second half of the season. Managed just six appearances in 2021 and will be 35 in September. Might be tempted to retire and go into coaching.
