Young people across West Northamptonshire invited to have their say at cake and debate annual event

Local young people are invited to discuss the issues that matter to them at a ‘cake and debate’ event.
West Northamptonshire Youth Council is holding the session on Monday November 23 between 4.30pm and 6.30pm at The Guildhall in St Giles Square.
Youth and community worker Sarah Bailey-Shaw says it will allow younger people to contribute to their communities while encouraging participation in local democracy.
She said: “This annual event brings together young people from across West Northamptonshire to discuss issues that matter to them, share their views, and engage in meaningful debate with local decision-makers and community representatives.
“Come for the cake and get involved in the debate!”
