Vulcan Works Creative Hub - The first phase of this building is due to be open by Christmas. The whole project will create 60 start-up units for dynamic new businesses. It is seen as "a very exciting addition to the town centre". The project will work closely with the Cultural Quarter and the University of Northampton.
6.
The Old Black Lion - As the Chron has previously reported, Northampton Borough Council acquired the freehold of the pub which has created the opportunity to develop it. The plan is to create a visitor centre that still has a pub at its heart. It will celebrate the history of the town and give new arrivals from the railway station a great first impression.

Housing projects - The borough council has identified several locations to increase the number of people living in the town centre. Belgrave House is one. The plan is to increase the building by two floors and convert into 120 apartments. As we've previously reported, it will target key workers.

Riverside House is another location and will create 60 new apartments
