Queen’s Guide Award holders invited to Northampton celebration marking 80 years

Queen’s Guide Award holders from across the years are being invited to a special celebration in Northampton marking the award’s 80th anniversary.

Girlguiding Northamptonshire is organising an afternoon of tea, music and memories at St Giles Church in Northampton on Saturday, November 21.

The event will run from 2pm until 5pm and is open to anyone who has achieved the Queen’s Guide Award during their time in Girlguiding – including those who completed it in another county.

Organisers said the gathering would provide an opportunity for award holders from different generations to meet and celebrate 80 years of the award.
