Northampton's Abington Street paving to undergo overnight deep clean and protection works
A section of Northampton town centre will undergo a series of overnight cleaning works next week as part of efforts to protect its regenerated paving.
A deep clean of the paving on Abington Street in Northampton will begin on Monday, August 10, with work taking place between 6pm and around 2am.
The programme is expected to last for five to six evening shifts, excluding weekends.
Following the deep clean, contractors will apply an invisible, solvent-free protective treatment designed to help preserve the appearance and condition of the paving.

The work will be carried out on behalf of West Northamptonshire Council by H2O Restoration Ltd.
To minimise disruption, work areas will be enclosed using one-metre-high interlocking safety fencing and appropriate signage will be in place throughout the project.
The council said access to businesses and other properties on Abington Street will be maintained during the works, meaning customers should still be able to enter shops and premises as normal.
In a notice to businesses and residents, contractors apologised for any inconvenience and thanked people for their patience while the work is carried out.
The improvements form part of ongoing maintenance of the regenerated pedestrian area in Northampton town centre.
