Family pay tribute to 'talented' Army veteran and father-of-three from Northamptonshire who died in car crash
A man who died in a car crash over the weekend was an Army veteran, husband and father-of-three from Northamptonshire.
Kevin Rye from Brackley was found at around 6.15am on Sunday (May 16) after his black Mercedes CLK crashed into a ditch just off the A16 in Newborough, Peterborough.

Hide AdOfficers revealed the single-vehicle crash could have happened any time between 11pm on Saturday (May 15) and when the car was discovered.
Mr Rye suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. There were no passengers involved.
The family of Mr Rye have now paid tribute to him.
In a tribute, Kevin’s family said: “Kevin was a 26 year veteran of the Army and a talented engineer. He has three children and a close family and was due to celebrate his second wedding anniversary this year with his loving wife Tina.”
